National Drug Take Back Program

National Drug Take Back Program

drug box

Davison City Police has a permanent prescription drug drop off box, located just outside of the police department, in the lobby of City Hall.

Substance Abuse

Statistics state that America's 12 to 17 year olds have made prescription drugs the number one substance of abuse for their age group, and much of that supply is unwittingly coming from the medicine cabinets of their parents, grandparents and friends. Members of our community must be proactive and dispose of unwanted prescription medications.

Correct Disposal

When bringing unwanted pills to drop off, please remove the pills from all bottles and/or packaging and place them in the provided ziploc-type bag. Once the pills have been placed in the plastic bag, simply drop them in the white cabinet, no questions asked. Please note, the Davison City Police does not accept unwanted liquid medications or needles.

Drop Off Information

Unwanted medications may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any questions may be directed to the Davison City Police at 810-653-4196.
