City of Davison, Genesee County

 

The City of Davison Board of Review for March 2021 will be held by electronic remote access, unless by the dates of the March Board of Review meetings it becomes lawful under state agency rules and statute for an in-person meeting to be held. Electronic remote access, in accordance with Michigan law, will be implemented in response to COVID-19 social distancing requirements and limitations on the number of individuals in a meeting hall. 

 

If in-person meetings become a lawful option, then the meeting will be held both in person at the Davison City Hall, 200 E. Flint St., Ste. 2, Davison, MI 48423 and via electronic remote access.

The City of Davison March Board of Review will meet on the following dates:

 

  • Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 1:00PM – 9:00PM = Appeal Hearing
  • Monday, March 8, 2021, 9:00AM – 5:00pm = Appeal Hearing 

 

To attend via landline phone or cell phone, taxpayers must make an appointment by calling City Hall at 810-653-2191 by March 1, 2021. Taxpayers must also provide supporting documentation regarding their protest along with the petition form (618) by March 1, 2021. This documentation can be mailed to City Hall, Attn: Board of Review, 200 E. Flint St., Ste. 2, Davison, MI 48423 or emailed to dmcarthur@cityofdavison.org. Taxpayers may also protest by letter, provided all documentation is received by March 1, 2021. The petition form (618) is available at michigan.gov/treasury. Type 618 into the search bar, click on “Form 618, L4035, Petition to Board of Review”, and print the form. It is also available at cityofdavison.org. Look under Departments, Assessing Department, click on “Forms”, click on “Board of Review Petition”.
