Treasurer's Department
The Treasurer's Office is located at Davison City Hall and is responsible for all deposits and revenue collections. The Treasurer's Office is also responsible for the billing and collection of property taxes, which also includes subsequent distribution of those collections to the following taxing units:
- Bishop Airport, MTA
- Davison Schools
- Genesee County Library
- Genesee County Parks and Recreation
- Genesee County Operations
- Genesee Intermediate School District
- Mott Community College
- The City of Davison
This and additional information related to taxes is also available through Genesee County.
Revenue Responsibilities
Our office is also responsible for collecting and processing Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) revenues and assists them in processing their respective accounts payable.
Payments
The Treasurer's office also oversees processing of the following payments:
- Dog Licenses
- Invoices and assessments
- Miscellaneous accounts receivables
- Payroll
- Water and sewer usage bills
Making Payments
When doing business with the City of Davison, residents have the ability to make payments using a variety of payment methods. This includes checks, credit/debit cards, both over the counter and electronically using the internet and by the telephone, making it more convenient for is residents and visitors.
